Before Your Workshop
Join. One of the first things you will want to do is join our private facebook group where you’ll be able to start posting questions and connect with other students. The group is exclusively for ATL Clinical Workshop members (that’s you!) and it is by invitation only so approval into the group may take up to 48 hours.

Read. Before attending your workshop with us, we require that you read the EC CPNE Study Guide all the way though at least once. Don’t worry if you feel overwhelmed with the amount of information or if you don’t understand everything. You won’t be the only one feeling like that but we promise that after your first day of the workshop things will start clicking. You’ll want to use the skills assessment tool in the EC study guide in “Appendix J” to see where your weakness may be. Be sure sure you also have a working knowledge of things like critical elements, clinical decision making and the nursing process. (AAPIE or ADPIE)
Print. Print out a copy of your EC study guide. Not only will it help you break it down by creating tabs but we also ask you to bring it with you to your workshop for referencing.
Watch. Below are some videos that we recommend you watch before attending the workshop.
Beginning Your Studies. Breaking down the intense 500 page study guide will help you in the beginning not feel so overwhelmed with all of the content. It is very important that you are at least familiar with the terminology surrounding your clinical weekend. Organization is a huge step toward success during your clinicals and not just while you are there but organization begins at home. Both of these videos will assist you in lessening your stress and anxiety when beginning your studies at home.
Grid Basics. This is another organizational tool to use when testing. This video will help you understand what a GRID is and how to apply it with each patient care situation so you can stay focused on the task at hand. Not to mention, it simplifies writing careplans too!
Nursing Diagnostic Statement. Understanding your Nursing Diagnostic Statement will aid in the formulation of your careplans. The Diagnostic statement comes at the very end of each patient care situation with the evaluation however, you need to be putting it all together during your planning phase to better plan for the care you are going to provide and the outcome you wish for your patient to achieve.
What You Get

By now you should have received your PDF copy of our CPNE Study Hacks. It has been sent to the email address you used to reserve your seat for the workshop. If you haven't received it please check your spam box. If you don’t see it spam please you can download another copy here.
CPNE Study Guide and CPNE Supplemental Handbook
You will receive a hard-copy of our CPNE Study Guide and CPNE Supplemental Handbook on the first day of your workshop.

- A nonprogrammable calculator
- A watch with a second hand
After Your Workshop
Not only will you continue to receive ongoing support from us all the way until you pass, you’ll also get 45 careplans that you’ll do and submit back for grading. There’s a reason everyone calls Sheri Taylor the Careplan Queen. Get ready to have your careplans torn apart. (We call it tough love.) Though you can be sure that by the time you go to test you’ll be a careplan genius. We have never had anyone fail the CPNE based on careplans and neither will you. Careplan Crash Course homework should be submitted to [email protected].

ATL Clinical Workshop Discount Codes:
CPNE Workshop- Queen Suite $94 per night
CPNE Workshop- King Suite $97 per night
CPNE Workshop- Double Suite $126 per night
The hotel we suggest you stay at is the Residence Inn by Marriott. Each room has a fully equipped kitchen, a 37” flat screen TV and they provide a free grocery shopping service, a free breakfast buffet, and a free shuttle to and from the workshop. They will even pick you up from the Marta (train) station if you’re not planning on renting a car.
When calling to make your reservation be sure to mention the ATL Clinical Workshop student discount codes listed above. Be sure you are speaking to the front desk at the Dunwoody location. Sometimes if the phone is not answered it rolls over to the national booking line, in which case they will not be aware of the discounted rate for our students. Our deal with the hotel is only for the Residence Inn by Marriott on Savoy Drive so make sure you are speaking with them directly.
If you plan to share a room with someone, keep in mind that the two bedroom suite is loft style. The downstairs room has a bedroom door but the upstairs room is open to the living room downstairs. There is still plenty or privacy and two bathrooms though.
Also be sure not to wait until the last minute to book your hotel room. If there are conferences going on in the area it’s possible the hotel will book up closer to the workshop date.
Nearby Restaurants
All these restaurants are within a half mile of the workshop and hotel. Most of which are a short walk from either. Our recommended hotel also offers a complimentary grocery shopping service where you can give them a list of what you’d like and they will stock it in your fully equipped kitchen while you’re at the workshop. The grocery store (Kroger) is also less than a 5 minute walk from the workshop if you prefer to do it yourself. Bon appetit!
See You In Atlanta

Don’t sweat it. We’re going to get you through it.
P.S. Want to supercharge your CPNE preparation? Our online CPNE workshop gives you instant access to over 50 hours of video that will help prepare you for the CPNE. It’s all the same information you’ll get in the hands-on workshop but you’ll be able to watch it over and over.
We surveyed over 1,000 previous online members through a third party survey company and 99.8% say it’s a “Must Have” to pass the CPNE. If passing the CPNE is top priority you do not want to miss it. Instant access. No contract. Unlimited usage. Check out our online CPNE workshop.
